Vinyasa (Level 1) classes will teach you the basics of yoga postures and the practice. You will learn how to link your breath to your movements while moving through foundational poses such as Downward-Facing Dog, Mountain and Warrior. In this class, you will learn how to flow through a Sun Salutation, which is the basic movement for all Vinyasa Flows. These classes are great for beginners as well as those who want to come back to the basics.
Restorative/Yin classes provide you with a good balance of deep relaxation and deep stretches. Yin yoga focuses on holding stretches from 2-5 minutes. Restorative yoga focuses more on deep relaxation and poses are usually held from 5-10 minutes, while being fully supported with props. These classes are great for those who may need a break from a busy day.
